This concert program features Grainne Hambly, from Claremorris, County Mayo on Irish Harp and concertina and William Jackson, orginally from Glasbow, Scotland, now living in Mayo on Scottish Harp, whistles and Irish bouzouki. The concert will focus on the rich, but little known musical heritage of County Mayo from the 17th century to present day. Grainne will present a workshop on Celtic Harp and William will present a workshop on whistles.
