Fire Breaks Out At Chestnut Hill Hospital Early Tuesday

Some patients were evacuated after flames broke out in a basement of one of the hospital's annex.

CHESTNUT HILL, PHILADELPHIA – Patients were evacuated from Chestnut Hill Hospital early Tuesday morning after flames broke out in the hospital's annex building.

A fire started in the basement of the hospital's annex building at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Some patients were evacuated but were back in the hospital shortly after being removed for safety.

There is no word on what started the fire.
