First Sundays: Music and Meditation

First United Methodist Church of Germantown (FUMCOG) kicks off its series of concerts and services featuring local and regional artists.  The premier event will be Sunday February 2, 2014, at 5PM, with a service of meditation and candlelight in FUMCOG's Turner Chapel.  The service will feature congregational Taize chants, accompanied by Kevin O'Malia, organist, and Ken Ulansey, saxophone.  Mr. Ulansey will offer an extended improvisation to conclude the service.  This meditation is free and open to the public.  FUMCOG, located at 6001 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA is a Reconciling Congregation, and is handicapped-accessible.  For more information about the programs at FUMCOG, go to www.fumcog.org, or call the church office at (215) 438-3677.
