Free Ice Cream Social Next Week Chestnut Hill

CHESTNUT HILL, PHILADELPHIA – You and your family are invited to attend an ice cream social next week in Chestnut Hill. The Friends of the Wissahickon group is hosting the free event.

The ice cream social will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 16 at Cedar's House Cafe, 200 W Northwestern Ave.

Not only will there be free ice cream, the event will feature music and nature-focused activities with FOW staff and volunteers, as well as the staff from the Wissahickon Environmental Center.

The free event will be held rain or shine and registration is not required.
