Germantown Dunkin' Robbed At Gunpoint Saturday: Police

PHILADELPHIA — The Dunkin' location on Wayne Avenue in Germantown was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend, according to Philadelphia Police.

At 9:33 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, four men came into the location at 5743 Wayne Ave., one being armed with a handgun, police said.

The armed man pointed the handgun at an employee and demanded that the cash register be opened.

Other employees were taken to the rear of the store where one employee, after a brief struggle, was able to flee out of the back door, police said.

The suspects took about $100 and fled the store on foot towards, heading toward Prices Street.

No shots were fired nor was anyone injured.

Below are descriptions of the suspects:

• Black male, mid to late teens, thin build, medium complexion, wearing a dark colored hooded jacket with an unknown logo on left sleeve, royal blue mask, dark colored shorts with white stripes on both legs over dark colored sweatpants, dark colored sneakers and armed with a black semi-automatic style handgun.
• Black male mid to late teens, thin build, medium complexion, wearing a dark colored bubble style jacket, dark colored pants, dark colored sneakers and green surgical gloves.
• Black male/female, mid to late teens, thin build, wearing a dark colored blue hooded jacket with fur, gray knit hat, blue denim style jeans, black sneakers and wearing green surgical gloves.
• Black male, stock build, wearing a dark colored hooded jacket, dark gray scarf covering face, dark colored pants, dark colored boots and green surgical gloves.
