Help A Stuffed Bunny Found In Mt. Airy Get Home
The bunny was outside High Point Cafe on Carpenter Lane when Kira Baker-Doyle decided to take action.
A lost stuffed rabbit sat outside a Mt. Airy cafe for days and even endured some rain. Then a local woman decided to be a good samaritan and is attempt to reunite the bunny with its owner.
Kira Baker-Doyle found the bunny sitting outside High Point Cafe at 602 Carpenter Lane in late February and after seeing it sitting in the rain she wanted to help.
Baker-Doyle said on Facebook that she took the bunny home and cleaned it up on March 1.

"He looks like a well-loved toy and I bet his child-owner misses him," she said in her post. "If he might belong to anyone you know, give me a holler. I'd like to get him back to his owner."
Baker-Doyle said even if the owner is not found, she plans to give the bunny a home.

"If nobody contacts me in a few days, have no fear, I will find Mr.Bunny a good home with a refugee child that has been resettled by HIAS since I have close connections with that organization," she said in a comment.
