Help Terrell Bruce's Family Give The Mt. Airy Man A Proper Send Off

More than $24,000 has been raised in just two days for the man who was killed allegedly by his ex girlfriend.

Terrell L. Bruce, 33, was killed on Tuesday, Dec. 27 after being shot while driving in Mt. Airy.

Since the tragic incident, his ex girlfriend, 27-year-old Martina Westcott, has been charged with murder after turning herself into Philadelphia Police.

With justice on its way for the killing, Bruce's family is accepting donations through a GoFundMe campaign to help give him a proper send off.

"It's with a heavy heart that I inform you that Terrell L. Bruce was the tragic victim of senseless gun violence on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016," the donation page reads. "A selfless, hard worker, widely known for putting the interests of others ahead of his own, Terrell was a well-regarded pillar in the community despite his young age of thirty three (33). During his time as a real estate agent, founder and president of the Nathaniel M. Kirkland Foundation, and property owner/manager of his own real estate investment properties, Terrell preached the importance of financial literacy and personal development while serving as the inspiration for countless others."

Donations to the campaign will be used to pay for funeral arrangements, reception, and continuation of the Nathaniel M. Kirkland Foundation with an impending Memorial Fund to honor Terrell's
great legacy of community service and academic excellence, according to the donation page.

Since the campaign launched on Dec. 28, more than 340 people have contributed upwards of $24,110 of the $30,000 goal.

"Although the funeral service date is TBD, for more information or to send your condolences, please refer to the official email address terrelllbrucememorialfund@gmail.com or Facebook page 'Terrell L. Bruce Memorial Fund,'" the donation page reads. "Thank you to all of those that have reached out and shown your support as your well wishes and prayers are greatly appreciated by the family."
