Man Shot After Germantown Robbery Early Monday Morning: Reports

A 21-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the stomach by two men who robbed him of his wallet early Monday morning.

PHILADELPHIA — A 21-year-old man was shot after giving armed robbers his wallet early Monday morning in Germantown, according to reports.

Action News reports the incident happened at about 1 a.m. on the first block of Woodlawn Street in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

Two masked men approached the victim, who gave the men his wallet, then one of the men shot the victim in his stomach, Action News reports.

According to CBS Philadelphia, the victim is in critical condition.

Police are searching for a silver car in connection with the violent robbery.
