Man Shot Dead In The Street In Mt. Airy: Police
A report of a person with a gun led Philly Police to find a 26-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.

A 26-year-old man was killed after being shot multiple times in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia Wednesday evening, Philadelphia Police said.
Police responded to the 7800 block of Baldwin Street at about 5:32 p.m. after receiving a report of a person with a gun, police said.
When police arrived at the scene they found a man, later identified as 26-year-old Maurice Riley of the 6300 block of North Lambert Street, lying in the road with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

Riley was taken to AEMC and pronounced dead at 5:58 p.m. police said.
Authorities from the police Homicide unit are investigating the shooting, and police said the motive and shooter have yet to be determined.

Witnesses told police Riley was working on a car when the shooter, who was reportedly wearing all black clothing walked, came up to him and fired at least four shots from point blank range, according to 6ABC.
The outlet reports the shooter fled the area, heading westbound through the rear driveway of the 1100 block of Sharpnack Street.
