Man Shot By Fake Pizza Delivery Driver In Mt. Airy: Police

MT AIRY, PHILADELPHIA – A man posing as a pizza delivery driver reportedly shot a man in Mt. Airy Tuesday afternoon, according to Philadelphia Police.

Police said the incident occurred at about 1:17 p.m. Tuesday at a home on the 200 block of Garrett Street in Mt. Airy.

Officers arrived on the scene and found a 49-year-old male who had been shot in the back, police said.

The victim told police he was shot in the back by a black male in his 20s with a pizza box in his hand.

The suspect was described as 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build and was wearing a blue shirt.

The victim is listed in stable condition, according to 6ABC.
