Man Sought For Attempted Luring In Philadelphia: Police

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Police are looking for a man who physically and verbally assaulted a woman over the weekend in an attempted luring incident.

According to police, the man seen above approached the victim at about 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 10 near Manheim Street and Pulaski Avenue.

The man, who police said is wanted for several other incidents in the city, started a brief conversation with her, asking her if she lived in the area and how old she was, police said.

She told him she was 16 years old so that he would leave her alone, but he continued to walk and talk with her, police said.

While stopped at the corner of Manheim and Pulaski, police said he indecently physically and verbally assaulted the victim, who declined and walked away.

According to police the man is 35 to 42 years old, is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds with a heavy build.

He has a light complexion, a clean-shaven face, and a bald head.

He was wearing a black sport-type jacket, gray jeans, black sneakers, and thick prescription glasses.
