Manhunt For Suspect Who Fatally Shot Victim, Stole Car With Baby Inside

The baby was located unharmed in Philadelphia; the suspect who killed the baby's father is at large as of Saturday night, reports say.

A man who shot and killed another man and then stole his car with a baby inside is at large as of Saturday night, according to multiple reports.

The incident began shortly after 4:10 p.m. in Penns Grove, Salem County, N.J. That's when officials say the suspect fatally shot a 24-year-old on South Broad Street. The suspect then fled the scene with the victim's car, with a one-year-old baby in the back seat, NJ.com reports.

NJ.com reports the baby is the victim's son. The victim has not yet been identified.

The suspect then drove the car to Philadelphia, where he abandoned it. The baby was found unharmed inside the car, which was located near 5th and Wood streets, NBC10 reports.

The boy has since been reunited with his mother, authorities told NBC10.
