Manhunt Underway For Germantown Shooting Suspects

PHILADELPHIA – A manhunt is underway for suspects involved in a fatal shooting that occurred at about 8 a.m. Monday in Philadelphia's Germantown section.

According to police, a 46-year-old man was shot in the chest at about 8:05 a.m. on the 4400 block of Germantown Avenue while in his vehicle.

The victim was rushed to Einstein Medical Center and pronounced dead at 8:22 a.m.

NBC10 reports police units are searching the Kensington area for the shooters after witnesses reported seeing two men matching the shooter descriptions.

Police believe the shooter was in a white work van when the victim was shot, according to Action News.
