Broadway Hit 'Hamilton' Coming To Philadelphia

Theater goers will have to wait a year, however.

A while back, it was rumored the Broadway musical smash hit "Hamilton" was coming to the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia.

In December, Kimmel Center spokeswoman Leslie Patterson-Tyler said the center had been receiving lots of questions about whether or not Lin-Manuel Miranda's historical hip hop show was coming to the city.

And now the Kimmel Center has confirmed the story of Alexander Hamilton and the American revolution will grace the Academy of Music stage.

But not this season.

"Hamilton" will be featured in the Kimmel Center's 2018-2019 season, and 2017-2018 Broadway Season ticket holders will have first access to tickets when renewing full subscriptions for the 2018-2019 season.
