Two Mount Airy Bars Named Among Best In Philly

A Mount Airy bar was recently named among the ‘Best Bars of Philly’ by Philadelphia Magazine.

The publication ranked the top 50 in the city and two local establishments made the list.

McMennamin’s was ranked 35th.

Philadelphia Magazine had this to say about McMennamin’s: ”It’s the energetic living room for Philadelphia’s most diverse neighborhood.”

Earth Bread + Brewery was ranked 43rd. “The house beers never repeat at EB+B. But that’s fine, because for those in need of consistency, the flatbreads (especially “The Seed”) are always there,” the publication said of Earth Bread + Brewery. 

American Sardine Bar, in Point Breeze, and Khyber Pass Pub, in Old City, made the top of the list at 1 and 2, respectively.
