Mt Airy-Area Dunkin Donuts Burglarized Feb 8: Police

PHILADELPHIA – A Mt. Airy-area Dunkin Donuts location was burglarized last week but nothing was stolen. Philadelphia Police asking for the public's help identifying the suspect.

According to police, at about 4:22 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, a man threw a rock through the drive through window of the Dunkin Donuts at 8113 Stenton Ave.

The man crawled through the store to an office but was unable to get inside said office, police said.

He crawled back to the window and left without taking anything, police said.

He was last seen fleeing on the 900 block of East Ellet Street.

The suspect is described as a 20-year-old black man standing 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium build and light beard. He was wearing black pants, a dark hooded sweatshirt, a shiny down jacket, and possibly socks on his hands, police said.
