Mt. Airy Medical Weed Dispensary Nixed: Report
After push back from the community and city officials, the proposed Mt. Airy dispensary will not move forward.
MT. AIRY, PHILADELPHIA – A proposed medical marijuana dispensary in Mt. Airy got the kibosh recently, according to a media report.
Chestnut Hill Local reports the facility proposed by TerraVida Holistic Centers will no longer move forward.
While Mt. Airy won't get its own dispensary, TerraVida officials said they are still planning to set up shop in Philadelphia.

The move to pull back from Mt. Airy comes after months of residents, as well as city and state officials, resisting the proposed dispensary.
