Vigil For Charlottesville Planned In Mt. Airy

MT AIRY, PHILADELPHIA –A vigil in support of the people of Charlottesville, Virginia is planned for Tuesday night in Mt. Airy. The vigil will also denounce racism peacefully.
The vigil will be held at 7 p.m. in front of Big Blue Marble Bookstore, 551 Carpenter Lane, in Mt. Airy. It is expected to last one hour.
Attendees are encouraged to bring signs and come up with chants that are family friendly as the vigil is an all ages event. Organizers said to be cautious of using messages related to death as children will be present.

Organizers also said they are encouraging young adults and kids to speak at the vigil.

Sign making will be ongoing throughout the day Tuesday at Big Blue Marble on the second floor.
