New Beer Debuting At Iron Hill In Chestnut Hill Thursday

The Rising Sun IPA is an "American IPA with Japanese spirit" according to Iron Hill Brewery. Stop by Thursday to try it out.

Iron Hill Brewery is headquartered in Delaware, but its craft brews are offered all around the Philadelphia area and in the city itself. That's a good thing, because the brewery is debuting a new beer with a sleek can design Thursday, April 20.

The brewery will release its new Rising Sun beer Thursday for beer lovers to drink up.

Iron Hill describes the beer as an "American IPA with Japanese spirit."

The can features a design that includes the red rising sun seen on the Japanese flag and a wave that resembles a famous painting by Katsushika Hokusai called "The Great Wave off Kanagawa."

According to Brewhound.com, the beer is made with authentic Japanese Sorachi Ace hops, giving it a "spicy citrus character that's perfect for warm weather drinking."

The Chestnut Hill Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant location is at 8400 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia.
