Philly Man Among Obama's 76 Commuted Sentences

A 20-year sentence imposed in 2004 will be commuted to expire March 2017.

President Barack Obama commuted sentences for 76 cases throughout the country Friday.

One of those sentences was realted to a Philadelphia man who was sentenced in March 2004, according to a White House press release.

The release states Derrick Bullard, of Philadelphia, had his 240 month (20 years) and five year supervised release sentence commuted by Obama.

Bullard sentence will be commuted to expire on March 4 2017.

Bullard was sentenced after being convicted of conspiracy to distribute cocaine base.
