Philly Newspaper Editor Busted On Child Porn Charges: Prosecutors
The editor-in-chief of the newspaper group that publishes the several Philly newspapers was arrested on Tuesday on child porn charges.

PHILADELPHIA – The editor-in-chief of a newspaper group that publishes several newspapers in Philadelphia was arrested on Tuesday on numerous child porn charges, Camden County, New Jersey Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Cherry Hill Police Chief William Monaghan announced.
Timothy Ronaldson, 35, of Cherry Hill, New Jersey was arrested without incident at his home following the execution of a search warrant on Tuesday, according to the prosecutor's office. He was processed at the Cherry Hill Police Department and later released.
Ronaldson couldn't immediately be reached for comment on Tuesday. A representative of the media group couldn't immediately be reached for comment on Tuesday.

Newspaper Media Group LLC owns a number of newspapers in the region, including the Philadelphia Weekly, the South Philly Review, the Northeast Times, and the Star. The company also publishes the Lower Bucks Times, which covers Bensalem, Bristol, Langhorne, Feasterville-Trevose, and Upper Southampton, the Sun Newspapers, the Packet Newspapers and Greater Media Newspapers. It covers Pennsylvania, South and Central New Jersey and New York.
Detectives from the High-Tech Crimes Unit (HTCU) of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office executed a search warrant at Ronaldson's home on Tuesday, April 17, according to the prosecutor's office. Following an onsite preview of digital media devices found in his home, Ronaldson was charged.

Detectives said they seized numerous digital devices from the home and sent them to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office's HTCU Forensic lab to be analyzed.
Members of Homeland Security Investigations – Cherry Hill Office, and the Cherry Hill Police Department assisted the Camden County Prosecutor's Office HTCU Detectives on this case.
Ronaldson has been editor-in-chief of the group for two years, according to his LinkedIn page. He is responsible for the overall direction and content of the group's publications, according to the Newspaper Media Group website.
"Tim is proud to be able to shine a light on the local communities that are often ignored and is impressed daily by the dedication of his team," according to his profile on the company's website. "In his spare time, Tim enjoys sports of all kinds, as well as cooking, traveling and spending time with his family."
Before being named to his current position, he served as executive editor/general manager for the group for 13 years, beginning in 2005. The company was founded in 2016, and specializes in print and online news, with a local focus on the community.
