Philly Sex Offender Charged For Child Porn Production After FBI, Special Victims Unit Investigation
Dante Dozier was previously convicted for rape.
A Philadelphia man who is a registered sex offender has been charged by indictment for allegedly producing child pornography, according to United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.
Darren “Dante Dozier” Dozier, 54, of Philadelphia, was charged by indictment Tuesday with three counts of production of child pornography; one count of transportation of child pornography; and one count of offenses committed by a registered sex offender, for offenses committed in 2015 against a child under the age of 13 years, Memeger's office said.
Dozier was previously convicted for rape and related offenses in Pennsylvania, according to Memeger's office

Dozier faces a lifetime prison sentence, a mandatory minimum of 35 years, a minimum 5-year term up to a lifetime of supervised release, a $1.25 million dollar fine, mandatory restitution, forfeiture, a $500 special assessment, and a $20,000 special victims assessment, Memeger's office said
Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Philadelphia Police Department Special Victims Unit officials investigated the case, which is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Priya De Souza.
