Police Speaking With "Person Of Interest" In Chestnut Hill Home Invasion And Sexual Assault

The victim was forced to perform sex acts on the suspect, who had a gun to the victim's husband's head.

Philadelphia Police are speaking to a "person of interest" in connection with the home invasion and sexual assault incident in Chestnut Hill that occurred over the weekend.

Police said as of Tuesday afternoon no arrests have been made and no charges have been filed.

The incident occurred early Saturday morning when a husband and wife awoke to a man in the bedroom of their East Chestnut Hill Avenue home at about 4:25 a.m.

The suspect, described as a black male between 18 and 25 years old, held a gun to the 55-year-old husband's head and forced the 56-year-old wife to perform sex acts on him.

The suspect fled the home after he set his gun down and the wife grabbed it, aiming the weapon at the suspect but not firing.
