Primo Owner "Like A Little Kid" Excited About Opening

Mike Pieciuk is just about giddy with anticipation about opening a .
“I’m like a little kid. I can’t wait,” Pieciuk said. “I plan on basically living here.”
Pieciuk, the franchise owner and operator of the soon-to-be Primo was at the shop Wednesday afternoon, doing some work and taking in the neighborhood. He is waiting on some permits for construction, but in the meantime, he can’t say enough about coming to Chestnut Hill.

“The thing I’m most excited about is being part of the community. People have been coming by to say hi, popping their heads in to see what’s going on,” he said. “I see the way people sit at on Germantown Avenue, it’s a place to talk about your day and what’s going on. I want it to be like that here.”
Once the permits come through, Pieciuk said his Primo will be “something special” including a sports theme, and an openness so patrons can see their sandwiches being made.

And since he plans on being around a lot, but doesn’t want to miss quality time with his family, Pieciuk said the franchise will have a family feel. In fact, he’s even got a job for his daughter lined up after school.
Primo is anticipating a mid-October opening.
