Smart Car Stolen In Mt. Airy After Crooks Push It Onto Flatbed Truck
Two people were caught on camera pushing the vehicle down a street in Mt. Airy to a flatbed truck which they used to tow the car away.
MT. AIRY, PHILADELPHIA – A Smart Car was recently stolen in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia, and the thieves used an unconventional method to do so.
A Smart Car, known for the compact size, was stolen after at least two people rolled it onto a flatbed truck Oct. 21 in Mt. Airy, Philadelphia Police said.
The crime occurred at about 1:55 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 on Roumfort Road in Mt. Airy.

The outlet reports the suspects somehow placed the Smart Car in neutral, rolled it to a nearby flatbed truck, then towed the car away.

Police said they have no other releasable information at this time but are investigating the crime.
