Jazz soloist Kevin Valentine sang some cool jazz standards on a July evening at the Jazz Vespers at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Restoration in East Mt. Airy on Sunday evening, July 20th. He was accompanied by guitarist Anthony DeCarlo. The duo performed some mesmerizing jazz standards including "Someone to Watch Over Me" and "Old Devil Moon."
New York native and now resident of Philadelphia, Kevin has performed at Zanzibar Blue, the Pyramid Club and recently at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. In 2013 he was nominated by the Clef Club as male jazz vocalist of the year.

Jazz Vespers are held at 4:30 pm on the third Sunday of each month. The next Jazz Vespers will be held on August 17 at 4:30 pm.
