Water Main Break Causing SEPTA Delays In Chestnut Hill

A water main break in Philadelphia caused significant delays Thursday afternoon along SEPTA's Regional Rail lines.

UPDATE: Trains resumed normal boarding locations by around 1:20 p.m, SEPTA said, but intermittent delays on several lines continued.

According to SEPTA, riders on the following lines experienced delays of up to 20 minutes: Chestnut Hill East, Chestnut Hill West, Cynwyd, Lansdale/Doylestown, Media/Elwyn, Manayunk/Norristown, Paoli/Thorndale, Trenton, Warminster, Wilmington/Newark, West Trenton.

The water main break was reported at Surburban Station.
