Woman Shot In East Mt Airy: Reports

A 22-year-old woman was shot early Wednesday morning in East Mt. Airy and is in stable condition, according to reports.

EAST MT. AIRY, PHILADELPHIA — A 22-year-old woman is recovering after being shot in East Mt. Airy early Wednesday morning.

According to CBS Philadelphia, the shooting occurred at about 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Stenton Avenue and Johnson Street.

Police found the woman suffering from gunshot wounds to the lower back and face when they were called to the area for reports of shots being fired, Fox 29 repots.
