Woman Shot, Killed While Driving Van With Kids In Philadelphia
Philadelphia Police said a 23-year-old woman died Wednesday after being shot while driving a van with three kids and two adults inside.

PHILADELPHIA – A 23-year-old woman died after being shot multiple times while driving a van carrying three children and two adult passengers Wednesday night in Philadelphia, according to police.
Philadelphia Police said the victim was driving a van on the 5700 block of North Broad Street at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday when at least five shots were fired at the van.
The van then to Old York Road and crashed into a business, Philly.com reports.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 9 p.m., police said.
The five passengers, tow adult women and three children, were taken to Einstein Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

Philadelphia Police Homicide Capt. John Ryan said at a news conference Thursday two men wearing gray hooded sweatshirts shot at the van then led the area on foot.
Police did not recover a gun and have not made arrests in the fatal incident yet.
