Woman Stabbed Inside North Broad Street SEPTA Station: Police

The woman is in critical condition after being stabbed in the back, neck, and head in the North Philadelphia SEPTA station, police said.

PHILADELPHIA — A woman was stabbed Friday afternoon at a Broad Street line SEPTA station, according to police.

The stabbing occurred at about 1:28 p.m. at the Broad Street Line's North Philadelphia SEPTA station on the 2700 block of North Broad Street, Philadelphia Police said.

The woman, 30, was stabbed numerous times in the back, neck, and head inside the station while on the southbound side.

Police said she is in critical condition at Temple University Hospital.

Authorities are investigating the stabbing and have not made an arrest, nor have they found a weapon.
