• Slippery Rock, IUP, PennWest to offer free tuition for lower-income students (triblive.com) — Lower-income students at PennWest Clarion could get their in-state tuition fully covered starting in fall 2027 through the new PASSHE Pledge scholarship. The program fills any remaining tuition gap after grants and aid, though housing, meals, and books are still extra, and it comes alongside a 4.3% tuition increase next year.
