Driver pleads guilty in deadly Clearfield County ATV crash (wtaj.com) — A Clearfield County ATV driver has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in a December 2025 crash that killed his passenger during a trip home from construction work in Baccarria Township. Twenty-three-year-old Chester Melvin Miller of Irvona will serve two years of probation after more serious vehicular homicide-related charges were withdrawn in the plea deal.

DuBois woman charged in partner's 2024 overdose death (wtaj.com) — Clearfield County’s coroner officially ruled a DuBois man’s 2024 death an overdose from fentanyl and methamphetamine, leading to serious charges against his partner nearly two years later. Investigators say new information and DNA testing on a drug baggie tied the woman to supplying the drugs, resulting in counts including criminal homicide and drug delivery resulting in death.
