Lawrence Township also set fall community cleanup for Sept. 28–Oct. 5, with limits on containers and no tire drop-off this year.
   

2. Man charged with homicide after DUI crash with pedestrian in Clearfield County (wtaj.com) — Clearfield County authorities have charged a 22-year-old man after an alleged DUI side-by-side crash that killed an 81-year-old pedestrian, according to the district attorney. State police say the victim died at the scene in rural Clearfield County, and court records show the driver faces multiple homicide and assault counts and is being held in county jail on $75,000 bail.
   

3. State Police Investigating Hit-And-Run Crash on Interstate 80 (gantnews.com) — State police are investigating a hit-and-run on Interstate 80 in Union Township, Clearfield County, where a York man’s SUV was sideswiped by a commercial vehicle that kept going. The driver was buckled up, uninjured, and able to drive away, while troopers continue seeking the fleeing vehicle.
   

4. Out-Of-State Driver Cited After Union Township Interstate Crash (explorejeffersonpa.com) — A driver from Alabama was cited after his truck left Interstate 80 near mile marker 107.5 in Union Township, Clearfield County, hitting an embankment and a tree before getting stuck in mud. He was wearing a seat belt, was not injured, and state police issued a traffic lane violation citation.
