• Clearfield Borough to begin S. 4th Street paving project (theprogressnews.com) — Expect parking and traffic disruptions as Clearfield Borough begins paving S. 4th Street, a two-week project starting Wednesday. Borough council also moved ahead on selling two local properties, planning tree and pollinator plantings downtown and in Witmer Park, and announced June events including an American Legion Riders benefit ride and Elder Abuse Awareness Day. 
• Senior Day Gives Clearfield Sweep of Tyrone (gantnews.com) — Clearfield baseball fans saw the Bison honor six seniors, then roll to an 11–5 home win over Tyrone to complete a season sweep. • Centre County training center hoping to expand to meet growing need (wtaj.com) — Clearfield-area first responders in training may soon benefit from a major expansion of Centre County’s Public Safety Training Center, which already draws students from Clearfield and nearby communities. The proposed $4 million project would add classroom space and new training opportunities as enrollment surges, with county commissioners backing a grant application to help fund the work.
