The Harriton Association invites you to enjoy some old-fashioned fall fun at the 36th annual Farmstead Fair on Saturday,&nbsp;September 26th.&nbsp; The Fair opens at 10:00 am and closes at 4:00 pm. &nbsp;You'll enjoy living history reenactors offering a variety of hand's on activities including cooking in our late 18th century kitchen.&nbsp; Tap your toes to the lively bluegrass music by Summit Hill, a long-time Fair favorite.&nbsp; Children can decorate a pumpkin and play games until they win!&nbsp; Shop the Attic Treasures Sale.&nbsp; And for those of age, enjoy a beer from&nbsp;Philadelphia's Dock Street Brewing.&nbsp; Admission and parking are free but donations are always greatly appreciated.&nbsp; The Harriton Association is a 501c3 non-profit that supports the preservation of historic Harriton House, a Township of Lower Merion Landmark, interprets the life of Charles Thomson, and presents educational and public programming.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Don’t miss our lively fall festival October 17 in Haverford’s picturesque Sharpe Park (a bird sanctuary) across from the historic Merion Cricket Club. This landmark preserves the legacy of the Grundy family and offers visitors a unique glimpse into life during the Victorian Era. The Museum’s extensive collection is highly unusual for a historic house museum as almost all the items belonged to the Grundy family. The museum serves as a cultural destination for those interested in antiques, local history, and architecture. Docents take visitors through the meticulously restored rooms, showcasing the elaborate furnishings and sharing stories of the Grundy family’s contributions to Bristol Borough, Pennsylvania, and national affairs.
