• Waste Material Available to Property Owners During Maintenance Operations (theriver989.com) — Property owners in Potter County, including around Coudersport, can request free waste material from PennDOT’s spring and summer road maintenance work, delivered if their property is accessible and they file the required M-666 form. The local PennDOT maintenance office on West Locust Street in Coudersport is handling requests, and the agency is also hiring seasonal workers through its Summer Employment Program.

• Sandy J. Heck, age 87, of Tioga, PA (solomonswords.net) — A longtime Potter County Anglers Club member with ties to Coudersport has passed away, and memorial gifts may be sent to the club’s Coudersport address. Calling hours are today and Wednesday at Buckheit Funeral Chapel in Mansfield, with burial in Tioga. Her large family, love of the outdoors, and community connections are warmly remembered.
