I blog from the web site Blogger. Once on a site like Blogger you can search for topics. Then, visit a blog and start hopping. Many bloggers have a list of the blogs they follow somewhere on their site. Just click a name on the list and away you go to the next blog.
To leave a comment on a blog in Blogger you have to sign up for a user name. It's easy to do and you don't have to have a blog. Many people don't have a blog or a user name but keep a list of blogs they follow in "favorites" so they can visit often.
Want to start a blog? No problem on free sites like Blogger. Once you sign up for a blog you creat it. With Blogger it's done with templates and you "plug in" information. If you can upload photos on to Face Book you can add photos to a blog.
Blogger is a free site but there are other blog sites that charge a monthly fee to their bloggers. These site are more technically advanced and have less template restraints. If you are a tech genius and want to express your skills they are the sites for you. Some people actually hire others to set up these more advanced sites.
This weekend Hurricane Isacc maybe forcing us indoors, could be a good time to try blog hopping. It might take a while to find "your people" in blog world but I assure you they are there, keep looking!
