Camera + Rodeo = Big Fun
The North Washington 53rd Annual Professional Rodeo is a great place to take your camera and family.
As an artist I am always looking for inspiration to start me off on a new project.

I am an amateur photographer and I strongly emphasize the word amateur.

I have a Canon 20 D from 2005 ( a dinosaur in the tech world) that I bought second hand on Craig's List. The lens on the Canon had seen better days so I replaced it with a $100 prime lens and have been happily shooting away.
As for photo editing, I have not made it past the standard Windows Photo Gallery. For two years running my News Year's Resolution has been to learn how to navigate Photo Shop.

It is my hope that today's post will inspire anyone who has bought a digital SLR camera and has been overwhelmed by all the settings. I encourage you to pick it up, put the setting on auto, turn the flash off and start shooting. Leaving it on the auto setting is okay.
The key is to use your camera.
Now, if you are a shutterbug with major skills, the rodeo is a great place to give your camera a workout.
The rodeo is located 16 miles north of Butler or 11 miles south of I80.
