Do you collect coupons but forget to cut them out before they expire?
You might have the best intentions to use the coupons, but you just never get around to it. Do you have a lot of coupons you did not use even though you cut them? Don’t throw them out!
Coupons with dates that are expired can be use for up to six months after their expiration date for this particular program. The coupons I am referring to throughout this article should not be more than two months expired, leaving four months of use on them.

Coupons work well in our stores, but they also work well for military families overseas. If you ever wanted to get involved in supporting our troops, but really did not know how, save those EXPIRED COUPONS.
Military families in bases overseas are able to use these coupons on commissaries for up to six months past the expired dates. The program is called Coups for Troops and it is run by a wonderful mom named Stephanie.

Your expired coupons are sent directly to soldiers and their families. The coupons are not sent just to the commissary. This ensures that everyone is given an equal amount.
You can simply donate items that help in mailing these coupons, including mailing envelopes, packing tape and shipping labels.
