Fourteenth Day of 100 Days of Caring by Cranberry GIrl Scouts

Cadette Girl Scout Troop 20880 visited the residents of Cranberry Place.

On Saturday, Dec. 17, the Cadette Girl Scout Troop #20880 spent a special afternoon with residents of Cranberry Place.

The five eighth-graders in the troop hosted several rounds of bingo fun and enjoyed presenting the winners with candy cane treats.

Following bingo, the girls shared homemade Christmas cookies and punch with the residents.

When everyone had their share of the goodies, the girls presented a selection of Christmas carols. Each of girl in the troop is a member of the Seneca Valley eighth- grade band, so there were lots of musical talent to share.

The troop has a flute player, a french horn player, a trombone player and two clarinet players. There even was a mother/daughter duet on the piano playing Parade of the Toy Soldiers!

The troop gave each audience member a homemade candy cane ornament to decorate their rooms.

Everyone enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon together!
