Pittsburgh may have progressed past its “Steel City” image years ago, but at BurghLife, we have nothing but respect for our city’s honorable heritage. 

That’s why we’re proud to introduce "Steel Strong," an exclusive new T-shirt design celebrating Pittsburgh’s rich history and recognizing the 2.9 million strong women who have beat breast cancer in the United States—as well as honoring those who lost the fight.

“Steel Strong” will be available for pre-order through Oct. 31, with 100 percent of the profits being dedicated to the Young Women’s Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation (YWBCAF). 

YWBCAF is a Pittsburgh-based organization that offers support, information, and awareness for young women who have breast cancer. 

Their mission is to educate as many people as possible about breast cancer in women under age 45, as well as to educate and support younger women with a diagnosis.
