I'm Ready to Fall
This is my first fall outside of California. Everyone says it's a magical time and I want to stomp on all of the freshly fallen, crunchy leaves.

I can not wait for fall to kick in.
Fall has always been an exciting “season” for me, even though in California there wasn’t really a season change.
In the past it was always the anticipation of the next school year, getting to wear sleeves for a while and crunching on the few, sparse leaves that made fall thrilling.
And even though I’ve visited often and have lived here for close to a year, I still haven’t experienced an East Coast fall (or even fall in a place with distinguishable seasons).
But according to friends and family that are from this side of the country and have experienced a true fall, it’s a magical time and I can’t wait to experience it.
Even before fall, I was entranced by the lush foliage and dense tree lines in Western Pennsylvania. My computer’s storage capabilities are shrinking at an alarming rate—because of the massive amounts of leaf pictures I’ve uploaded.
And now that I know the leaves will be turning orange and red and will soon after be scattered along the sidewalk, I’m starting to prepare my camera.
I’m not even a huge cider fan, but suddenly I find myself daydreaming about drinking some next to a fire and jumping onto a truck for a hay ride.
What do you think, is fall as magical for you too, or are you cursing the end of summer?
