Meet Sam. 

Sam was a champion fighter, until he was rescued during a raid bust in Florida. He and 17 other dogs were seized.

Sam is your typical human-friendly pit bull. He loves people, and he's just flat-out a "superstar"!

Sam has a story to tell the world. He's going to show the world that ex-fight dogs make great pets. 

Sam is an 8-year-old senior. When Sam was rescued, he immediately had to have four abscessed teeth removed. 

Daisy of HB says, "He just had repeated facial trauma. He has a lot of scars all over him :( we say he's bulletproof. How appropriate! We had four teeth pulled that were horribly abscessed. Everything else is just the scars of dogfighting. Thankfully, the damage is cosmetic."
