The Seneca Valley Varsity team has received a first round bye in the playoffs and will be starting their Run for the Penguins Cup THIS THURSDAY, March 7 at 8 p.m. at the Warrendale Bladerunners.

Their first opponent is State College, which battled against the Raiders in January. The Raiders won a close 6-5 game.

Goaltending will be key in this game, and Tanner Pfeffer is certainly up for the challenge!

SV will need their scoring leaders, Luke Reed, Ethan Kipin and Chris Marziotto to continue putting pucks in the net if they are to move on to the semi-finals.

If you've never been to a high school hockey game before, you will be in for some hard-hitting, face-paced hockey if you attend Thursday's game.
