On July 27th, The Butler County Historical Society is bringing the Walldogs to downtown Butler. Hundreds of muralists from around the world will travel to Butler to paint 10 different murals throughout the city. Rather than promote businesses, the murals aim to represent Butler’s history by depicting some the people, places and products that have come straight out of Butler. Natili North Pizza Shoppe, Butler Brew Works, Butler County Historical Society, Butler Eagle and Main Street are some of the locations where the murals will be painted.
Unique and defining people, places and products that helped shape Butler’s history will be showcased in the murals such as; General Richard Butler, William A. “Uncle Billy” Smith, the Bantam Jeep, the Pullman Standard Steel and Rail Car, Coca Cola and 50’s Diner and Drive-In.

Additionally, The Butler County Historical Society is hosting an event at the Lowrie/Shaw House on June 30th at 11:00 a.m. for guests to see exactly what and where the Walldogs will be painting in downtown Butler.
