Cranberrry Getting New Housing Development

Supervisors next week are expected to approve the 157 single-family unit subdivision.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Final approval could be given next week to a new subdivision near Cranberry Woods Business Park. Township supervisors will consider signing off on the proposed Laurel Point subdivision at their March 1 meeting.

Laurel Point would be a 157 single-family unit development built on a 115-acre site developers Laurel Associates acquired from the nonprofit Family Resource Center. If the project is approved, construction of the first phase will begin this year.

The subdivision would consist of two types of housing: condo-style villas where maintenance would be provided by a homeowners’ association and larger sized homes where maintenance would be the homeowner’s responsibility.
