Cranberry Fire Company Seeking To Add First Responders
The Cranberry Volunteer Fire Department is offering associate memberships to firefighters from other communities.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Seeking to bolster its first responder brigade, the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company has established a new membership category for qualified volunteer firefighters from neighboring communities: associate members.
The new category is restricted to those who have served as volunteers in their home communities for at least two years and who hold certification as Firefighter I or higher. A stipend will be paid to associate members, and shifts at all times – day, evening, and overnight – are available. Daylight coverage is currently the greatest need.
Professional development opportunities for firefighters will be offered to all associate members. Participants in the program will also have access to the fire company’s newly expanded station which includes overnight bunk-in quarters, workstations with WiFi connections, day rooms, and a workout room outfitted with all new equipment.
