Cranberry Getting New Retirement Community

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - The Village of Cranberry Woods is getting an independent, assisted and continuing care community for seniors, as well as a unit for those suffering from dementia.

Solana at Cranberry will be a four-story, 183-unit, 235,000-square foot facility. Township supervisors have approved the proposed project by the Atlanta-based Formation Development Group, which operates more than a dozen other senior communities across the country.

Construction is expected to begin in the near future on this latest addition to the Village of Cranberry Woods, a 57-acre mixed use development along Franklin Road.
