Cranberry Looks To Hire Seasonal Workers

Cranberry is searching for people to fill a variety of seasonal positions for the coming summer.

CRANBERRY, PA — With dangerously cold temperatures on the way, few people probably are thinking about summer jobs at the moment. But township officials are already planning ahead to when the weather is warm and lawns are being mowed rather than snow being shoveled.

The township will have a summer seasonal job fair Jan. 5 from 2:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the municipal center. Township department officials will be available to answer questions, applications will be accepted and interviews could be conducted.

Positions to be filled include:

  • Public Works long- and short-seasonal groundskeeper positions. Long-term seasonal runs March to November, while short term runs May to August.
  • Cranberry Highlands positions, including in the pro shop, banquet facilities, and for course maintenance.
  • Camp Cranberry coordinator and counselor positions.
  • Water park positions including guest relations, concession stand, maintenance, and lifeguards.

The minimum age varies by position for each job. Full job descriptions and applications for all seasonal positions will be available online by Jan. 4.
