Cranberry To Modernize, Upgrade Municipal Center

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — The township municipal center is getting a makeover.

Supervisors on Thursday accepted a $1.25 million state grant for the municipal center modernization project, which should get under way next year.

Township officials said the work will include expansion of the side parking lot, as well as modernizing the entire building.

Improvements will include expanded customer service operations, bringing easier access for residents and others doing business in the township. Officials said there also will additional programmable space, including renovation of an existing room and the addition of
two more rooms.

The municipal center opened in 1991.
