Dierks Bentley Tops 5 Weekend Things To Do Around Cranberry
There's also an appearance by local favorites The Clarks, a sandwich showdown in the Strip District and more.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Two weeks in a row, weβre having kick-butt country music concerts at the shed in Burgettstown. Last week, it was Sam Hunt. This week itβs Dierks Bentley.
Thatβs cool for country music fans, but not so hot for fans of β80βs hair metal bands such as Poison. Theyβre going to have to find something else to do this weekend. Thankfully, thatβs the beauty of this five things list. You might not like everything on it but chances are that youβll find something that appeals to you.
Bentley has accumulated 25 singles on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, including 15 that have reached number one. Those songs include βWhat Was I Thinkinβ,β βCome a Little Closer,β βSettle for a Slowdown,β βI Hold On,β βDrunk On a Plane,β and βSomewhere on a Beach.β
He brings his βWhat The Hellβ tour to town (or a reasonably close drive to it) on June 24 at 7 p.m. at KeyBank Pavilion. Dierks Bentley tickets start at $32.
Other weekend highlights:
- The Clarks, June 24, 6:30 p.m., Stage AE, North Shore
The Fayette County Fair doesnβt begin until July 27, but you can see this legendary local band sing about love gone sour, suspicion and bad debt well before then. The band has been a Pittsburgh staple for nearly 30 years, so expect to hear songs that helped keep them that way thorough the past three decades. Weβre talking βPenny on the Floors,β βBorn Too Late,β and the aforementioned tune about sour love. The Clarks tickets start at $66.
