The Harmony Business Association will celebrate the first annual Harmony Community Day, a family-welcoming event in and around the town-center National Historic Landmark District from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 18.
A car cruise rolls in at 11:45 a.m. for display along Main and Mercer streets and is expected to include antique and classic vehicles as well as a Jeep contingent.
The Harmony Museum will offer tours for only $1 and free for children under six years of age. Food and refreshments will be offered by the Harmony Inn, Fox’s Pizza and others, and there will be an ice cream social in the museum’s Stewart Hall.
Artisans will sell handmade items, and some will also demonstrate their skills. Musical entertainment will be heard throughout the day, and local nonprofit organizations, businesses and churches are invited to have booths. A craft and activity tent will appeal to youngsters.
